Sakai Spice Owner: Sakai Spice (Japan) Corporation   Architect: Hirano & Heaton Architects Ltd.   Engineers: Trimark Engineering Ltd.   This project provided Wesbridge Construction Limited with the opportunity to work together with one of Japan's largest producers of mustard-based products, Sakai Spice (Japan) Corporation. A former Gainers meat processing facility in Lethbridge was completely renovated to accommodate a fully intergrated mustard processing operation. Significant structural upgrades were required to the plant in order to meet exacting requirements for the mustard processing operation. In addition to the processing operation , the first phase of the large project involved the installation of new offices, common areas and Q.A. lab. The property was completely landscaped and the parking areas were upgraded.
